Monastery Supports
Santi Forest Monastery is sustained through the goodwill and generosity of supporters and practitioners.
Your offerings help provide for the basic needs of the Sangha, maintain the monastery grounds, and support Dhamma activities and training.
Food Dana (Offering)
According to Vinaya regulations, monastics must finish their daily meal before noon. Some monks observe one meal a day, while others may take two meals — breakfast and lunch. Therefore, there are two meal offering sessions available for lay supporters.
The alms round typically begins at 8:00 AM.
The monks carry out their daily pindapata (alms round) around various locations in Johor. This is a meaningful opportunity for lay supporters to offer food and cultivate merit through this traditional practice.

Volunteering
We warmly welcome volunteers who are willing to dedicate their time and effort to support the daily needs and ongoing projects of the monastery.
Offering your service is a meaningful way to cultivate generosity, humility, and mindfulness through wholesome action.
If you are interested, kindly sign up to volunteer in any project or area that resonates with you.
Your kind support is deeply appreciated and contributes to the well-being of the Sangha and the preservation of the Dhamma.

Monetary Donations
Your generosity plays a vital role in supporting the spiritual life of the Sangha and the continued function of Santi Forest Monastery.
All donations—whether large or small—are sincerely appreciated and gratefully received. These contributions help sustain the daily needs of the resident monastics, upkeep of the monastery grounds and facilities, and support the organization of Dhamma programs, meditation retreats, and training for monastics and lay practitioners alike.
If your donation is made for a specific purpose (e.g., building fund, requisites for monks, or food offerings), we will honour your intention to the best of our ability. However, should the amount received exceed the required cost, the surplus will be respectfully redirected to the monastery’s general fund, which supports the broader needs of the Sangha and the maintenance of the monastery.
Your act of giving not only provides material support but also becomes a powerful act of merit, helping to preserve and spread the Buddha’s teachings in this world.
May your generosity bring you peace, joy, and spiritual growth.
